I was fortunate enough to be available last minute for Sally who wanted to organise a photographer for their family weekend at the beach house. Ladies only! Excluding the most handsome boy, Baby Duke!
This weekend meant a lot to these ladies, tough times and happy times. But most importantly sharing special memories together.
The beach house they hired was HUGE! It only had about 50 bedrooms (not really, but i think around 6!) and the hallways seemed like they went forever! It was coastal and comfy, and a perfect view right on the esplanade.
Everyone was ready to go down to the beach when i arrived! The wind was chillier towards the water but that didn’t hinder their spirits. Fun was in the air, umbrella’s were inverting and water rushing up the boat ramp to not only surprising saturate my pants but also deliberately getting Sally, who cheekily let it happen!
I really admired Sharon, watching her with smiles from ear to ear, taking it all in, watching her family around her. What a wonderful human she is, and so strong.
While sitting around the table Jo brought over a giant gift box of goodies for Sharon filled to the brim with gift vouchers, teddies, smurf figurines, jewellery & more. Not a dry eye in the house.
Soon before it was my time to leave the ladies commenced their in home spa treatment! Facial Mask’s and Foot Spa’s! It smelt and looked amazing, and even pretty funny with the cucumber eye patches i’m sure everyone will agree!
Like i said, i was fortunate to be available that day but also to have the pleasure of meeting these women.
